Day conferences for S3 pupils & staff to celebrate Inter-Faith week were held on 12th & 13th November 2014 from 10am—2.30pm in the Conforti Institute, Calder Ave, Coatbridge.

These conferences were being organised by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland Committee for Inter-Faith Dialogue, in partnership with the Scottish Catholic Education Service and the Conforti Institute.

Secondary schools were invited to arrange for S3 pupils to participate in one of these day conferences which were intende to help them to plan and resource initiatives for their own school during Inter-Faith week. 4 pupils and a member of staff from each school took part in a panel discussion, workshops and opportunities to plan activities for their own school communities. They head from people who are working to promote interfaith dialogue within the Catholic Church and were invited to think about how they can bring this message back to their own schools.
