At a conference held in Glasgow on Friday 26th November, this question was directed to 90 participants who are aspiring to leadership positions in Catholic primary schools around the country.  The conference aimed to encourage and inspire those teachers who might be considering applying for leadership positions in Catholic schools.  It  stressed the great promise, rather than the impossibility, of leadership in Catholic schools.  It encouraged each person to respond to a call which is more important today than ever before.

Main contributors:

  • John McGuire, Phoenix Car Company
  • Bishop Phiip Tartaglia
  • Fr John Bollan, School of Education, University of Glasgow
  • various serving Head Teachers
  • Michael McGrath, SCES Director
