Sincere thanks to school and parish co-ordinators for all their efforts to submit evidence for this year’s Caritas Award.  Since 31st March we have been processing over 1,000 submissions. On Friday 4th April the Caritas Assessment Board met to discuss the assessment process and to take away bundles of evidence for assessment.  Their work undergoes a further review and checking process before we will issue results to schools and presenting centres by the end of April.

Photographs of Caritas Activities

We are keen to obtain digital photographs of students engaged in Caritas activities in and out of school.  Some might be used on the SCES website or in in the programme for the Award Ceremony.  Schools are asked to forward these to SCES, either by or on a CD by Friday 8th May.

Caritas Award Ceremony – Saturday 31st May 2014

Arrangements are now being made for the Caritas Award Ceremony which will take place in the Clyde Auditorium Glasgow on the afternoon of Saturday 31st May 2014.  Every school is being provided with details of how to order tickets for this grand event. Tickets for Caritas Award recipients and their families will be delivered to schools.
