Catholic Schools – Good for Scotland
The Scottish Catholic Education Service invites members of the Catholic education community – parents, teachers, students, clergy – to participate in an open forum session of the Catholic Education Commission. Designed to provide an opportunity to learn about developments affecting Catholic education in Scotland. This session will consider the importance of the 1918 Education (Scotland) Act, which saw the start of the unique partnership between Church and State for the governance of Catholic schools.
The forum will begin with the celebration of Mass with Bishop Keenan in St. Mirin’s Cathedral at 10am
There will be a separate programme of Arts and Crafts for primary aged children during the forum
