Companions on the Journey provides details of a CLPL strategy for teachers who wish to develop their capacities for “walking together” with children and young people in the context of a Catholic school.  This strategy is designed to encourage teachers, school leaders and others to nurture a particular culture of professional development for teachers. This culture is distinguished by its recognition of teachers’ personal religious needs being part of their professional learning needs within schools which are communities of faith and learning.
