This unit aims to revisit, deepen and build upon learning covered in the BGE on the responsibility of every Christian to form and inform their conscience throughout their lives, and to act according to that conscience. The learner will deepen their understanding of how scripture, teaching and example help us to move through and beyond our own experience and to respond to the call to holiness and service inherent in being in relationship with God. By the end of the unit, the learner should have revisited their own idea on the nature of conscience and free will and, with the help of stimuli including scripture, Catechism and peer discussion, enriched this.
