This unit aims to deepen pupils’ understanding of the Holy Eucharist by re-visiting various topics which are covered in the Broad General Education (the Paschal Mystery, the theology of Salvation, the Mass etc.) and then introducing more complex ideas which build upon prior knowledge (more complex and nuanced terminology regarding Salvation, the Mass as a sacrifice, belief in the Real Presence, historical roots of the language used to express belief in the Real Presence etc.)

All of this is aimed at helping the pupils develop their own faith in the Eucharist and accompanying them on their journey to ever deeper internal participation in the Sacred Mysteries and holiness of life.
