The Feast Day of St Andrew the Apostle, patron saint of Scotland, is celebrated on 30th November.

Some resources provided here tell the story of St Andrew, an Apostle of Jesus Christ.

The video clip tells the story of how St Andrew became the patron saint of Scotland.

This on-line text, written by Michael T R Turnbull, provides a brief history of St Andrew.

This Powerpoint presentation tells the story of St Andrew as one of the first disciples who answered the Lord’s call. It suggests that each of us should consider how to respond to the Lord’s call throughout our lives. It could be used with a class or a school assembly and adapted, as appropriate.
