Fr Stephen Reilly to take up University appointment

The University of Glasgow has announced that Fr Stephen Reilly will be joining the staff as the new Coordinator of Spiritual and Pastoral Formation in its School of Education from 4th January 2016 .

Fr Reilly has been parish priest of St Bernadette’s in Motherwell for the past 10 years, and latterly also Director of Newmains Pastoral Centre, a retreat centre for schools and parishes. He was Religious Education Adviser for the Diocese of Motherwell for the primary sector for 5 years, overseeing the adoption of the This is Our Faith RE syllabus, and also was part of the writing team for This is Our Faith. He previously taught various theological subjects at Scotus College, Scotland’s national seminary.
