The Emirates Arena in Glasgow was the impressive setting for an excellent turnout of Head Teachers and RE teachers from Catholic secondary schools across Scotland at the launch of the Church’s new RE syllabus for pupils in S4, S5 & S6.  The syllabus had been previously granted the ‘approval’ of the Holy See.  The event was also attended by the President of the Bishops’ Conference Archbishop Tartaglia, as well as by Bishop Keenan of Paisley Diocese and Bishop Nolan of Galloway Diocese. Pupils from St Mungo’s Academy led the opening session of prayer.

This PowerPoint presentation was used at the launch of This Is Our Faith Senior Phase to tell the story of the development of the R.E. syllabus for S4, S5 & S6. It might be useful when sharing this information with others – teachers, parents and senior pupils.
