Students in Catholic schools in the UK are being invited to design a logo for the forthcoming visit of Pope Benedict XVI.  Students submitting entries must be in S3 to S6 (Scotland) or in KS4 (England & Wales).

The logo can reflect the theme of the UK Papal Visit: “Heart speaks unto heart” (the motto of Cardinal John Henry Newman whose beatification will be celebrated during the Papl visit).  Other possible themes are detailed on www.thepapalvisit.org.uk

The closing dates for submissions (which must be in electronic form) has now been extended to 5pm on 30th Aprill 2010.
