The school
Our Lady of the Annunciation Primary School is a denominational school. It serves the Merrylee, Newlands, Cathcart and Langside areas of South East Glasgow. The roll was 189 when the inspection was carried out in February 2011. Children’s attendance wasin line with the national average in 2009/2010. The headteacher has been in post for six months. The substantive depute headteacher was absent at the time of the inspection.
