Catholic school parents from around Scotland gathered in the St Francis Xavier Centre in Carfin to discuss the importance of Religious Education in schools.  Their discussions followed input from Archbishop Philip Tartaglia, President of the Catholic Education Commission and Joe Walker, Senior Education Officer from Education Scotland.

The event (picture below) was organised by the Parental Involvement Working Group established by the Catholic Education Commission to encourage parents to play a more active role in schools.
