Survey of Pilot Schools

To give us some early information about how things are going in pilot schools, teachers are being asked to complete an on-line survey which asks some simple questions about what has happened so far.  Responses will enable us to see how things are developing across all the schools involved and it will help us to respond to issues and answer questions as they arise. Details of the survey have been sent to every school involved.

PHOTOGRAPHS FOR WEBSITE

We are very keen to encourage wide use of a new website http://popefrancisfaithaward.com/ which will promote news of the award and give teachers and pupils the chance to share their experiences with other schools.  We are looking for schools to send us photographs of pupils involved in Pope Francis Faith Award activities so that we can feature every school on the website.

SCHOOL VISITS

We are hoping to visit some pilot schools in the final term to talk to teachers and pupils (priests and parents also, if they are available) about the experience so far.

SHARING GOOD PRACTICE SESSIONS

We are organising 2 half-day sessions in which we’ll try to benefit from your experience of being involved in the award so far.  Each school will be invited to send the class teacher to one of these sessions which will take place on Tuesday 10th June (Stirling) and Thursday 12th June (Glasgow). More details of these events to follow.
