The Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund have created two new resources that are now available and have already been well received across Catholic primary and secondary schools so far. With both the early year’s resource and senior phase resource connecting to key experience and outcomes within CfE and TIOF, they’re a great addition to your planning.

SENIOR PHASE  – S5

This new S5 resource explores the Catholic vision of the dignity of the human person. Three lesson plans with supporting material looks at how Scripture and Church Teaching guides how we respond to the needs of others and explains how pupils can advocate on behalf of those not heard. With Jesus as our example it inspires and challenges pupils to act. It will help your pupils examine how an informed conscience affects their response to international issues, in this case, with a particular focus on war and the plight of others.
