To mark the opening of the Year of Faith at a national level in Scotland, Mass was celebrated on Sunday 4th November in Our Lady of Good Aid Cathedral, Motherwell, in the presence of Cardinal O’Brien and wirth the Papal Nuncio, Archbishop Mennini.  The Cathedral was packed with a congregation comprising almost 500 young people, together with parents, teachers and catechists who listened to the homily of Archbishop Philip Tartaglia, newly returned from the Synod of Bishops on the New Evangelisation.
