The European Committee for Catholic Education (CEEC) were warmly welcomed in a brief visit to St Peter the Apostle High School in Clydebank on Friday 8th October 2010.  The group was in Scotland for four days to learn about the system of Catholic schools in Scotland and to consider models of Head Teacher formation.

Members of the Committee, who are involved with Catholic schools in 27 European countries, representing 7.5 million students. were greatly impressed by the warmth of their reception by Head Teacher Michael Vassie and his staff.  The group was also honoured by the attendance of members of the local parish clergy and by Mr Terry Lannigan, Director of Education for West Dunbartonshire Council.

They were very happy to be included in a Prayer Reflection, set in the prominent new Oratory and led by staff and pupils.
