Theme of Catholic Education Week 2016 – “Learning to Be Merciful”

Catholic schools and parishes across Scotland will celebrate Catholic Education Week from 30th January to 6th February 2016. As usual, SCES will publish various resources to support these celebrations.  These will include:

  • school assembly materials
  • learning activities for primary & secondary
  • children’s liturgy / family learning materials
  • a SCES newsletter
  • speaker notes for Parish Masses
  • prayers of intercession for Parish Masses
  • suggestions for Parent Councils

SCHOOL HANDBOOK INSERT
In anticipation of these resources being available the attached short note is provided as a suggested insert into School Handbooks which are being prepared for publication for session 2016-17.
