You will be able to watch many events during the Papal Visit, streamed live on the official Papal Visit website, using the link below.  To avoid difficulties in accessing the webcasts, the following advice is provided:

Events will be streamed as Flash video and you will require broadband Internet access.  You are advised to make sure that there are no restrictions (firewall or otherwise) on allowing certain media types through (flash video).  Please enable Firewall/DNS exception to allow for papal visit domain: thepapalvisit.org.uk

Notes:  You will have a re-size option on the media player to allow full screen and for those who are using projection or larger screens for group viewing this is a good option.

TV Coverage

Extensive coverage of the Pope’s visit will be provided on BBC1 and BBC2, as well as EWTN UK TV and SKY News.  EWTN UK have advised us that they are happy for schools to show recordings of the Papal Visit events broadcast on EWTN.  They will also make available hard copies of some special programmes on Cardinal Newman.  If you are interested in receiving these, please email SCES on resources@sces.uk.com.
