- Catholic schools are inclusive communities which welcome and support all students. All members of the school community are valued, treated with respect and encouraged to participate in the life of the school.
- Teachers are expected to witness to this attitude of respect for, and appreciation of, all people.
- Catholic teachers are aware of their vocation to promote the distinctive beliefs, values and traditions of the Catholic Christian faith.
- Parents of prospective pupils of other denominations, faiths, and stances for living should be adequately informed of this expectation prior to enrolment.
Admission to Catholic schools
Parents who wish to enrol their children in a Catholic school should contact their local Council to enquire about the location of the nearest Catholic schools. Generally, parents have an automatic right to enrol their children, if places are available.
