Discernment and Spiritual Direction often go hand in hand. As a teacher you are often the ‘go to’ person for others. You are the teacher, preacher, healer, arbitrator, peacemaker and counsellor for so many people, and you may have a friend, colleague, family member who acts in these roles for you – but who do you go to when you want to find space, reflect, pray and recall the moments of holiness within your day. In this week, when we are focussing on discernment, we consider ways of finding time for your own spiritual direction.
