Training session for those facilitating the Catholic School Leadership Programme
Opportunity for Church Reps from each Local Authority to meet with Archbishop Cushley and the Education Team to discuss recent matters from their authority and report on the work they have been involved in.
Probationary teachers or those taking up a post in a Catholic school for the first time are invited to a session which will explore the distinct ethos of a Catholic school, resources and documents which are used and there will also be some practical advice and support on teaching in the Catholic context.
This session will explore the Sacrament of Confirmation at an adult level as well as reviewing the core learning and lessons involved in preparing pupils for the reception of the Sacrament. Support and advice for classroom implementation and sacramental preparation will be offered and there will be an opportunity for dialogue with colleagues.
An introduction to the Archdiocese for newly appointed Head Teachers. On the day, a variety of topics will be explored, including the approval system and CLPL in STANED.
Primary schools in the Diocese of Motherwell are invited to sendtheir depute or PT where the school has no depute. The guestspeaker at thismeeting will be from SCES and have a focuson Laudato Si' schools.
