As part of their celebrations during the Year of Faith and Catholic Education Week, four Greenock schools came together for a special Mass on Thursday 7th February.

This was a wonderful opportunity for over seven hundred representatives of staff, pupils and parents from All Saints’ Primary, Notre Dame Secondary, St Mary’s Primary and St Patrick’s Primary to meet as a cluster to share and profess their Catholic faith.

Father Gerry McNelis and Father John Morrison concelebrated the Mass, which was held in St Patrick’s Church, Orangefield, while pupils from the four schools shared the readings, psalm, bidding prayers and offertory procession.

It is hoped that this will now become an annual event within the cluster, with each parish taking it in turn to host the Mass.
