As we prepare for the arrival of the Holy Father in 2 weeks time, we pray particularly for our young people.

We consider how the papal visit can help us to encourage our young people to serve the needs of others and to feel part of the Universal Church.

Each day, united in prayers of preparation with schools, parishes and families across the UK, we look forward to welcoming the Holy Father to our country.

God of truth and love,

we pray for Pope Benedict and look forward with joy to his forthcoming visit to our countries. 

May he be a witness to the unity and hope which is your will for all people.
