Pupils of  St. Maurice’s High School Cumbernauld managed to amass the grand total of £5200 (doubled in the UK Aid Match to £10,400) during Lent 2016.  They achieved this through various initiatives including: over 200 senior pupils and staff taking part in a 24-Hour Fast, “Guess the number of chocolate eggs in the jar” competition, Wee Boxes in all classrooms and subject-based fundraising like S2 Maths’ pupils making boxes for chocolate eggs and selling them in school. They were delighted to better the school’s £5,000 total of last year.
