Sacred Heart Primary School Grangemouth, raised some money to help families in need at Christmas in preparation for the Pope Francis Faith Award .

They explored the possibility of collecting empty plastic bottles and selling them to a local recycling company. Not only would the money they raise benefit families but they would be looking after the environment too.

They collected a large amount of bottles, received a cheque from a recycling company and presented the hampers to Social Work Department who chose two families in need to give the hampers to.

The primary class have all really enjoyed taking part in this activity.
