An opportunity for Secondary Head Teachers to gather and exchange information and explore current matters in education across the Archdiocese.
This course will allow those preparing the children for the Sacrament of Confirmation to explore the Sacramental materials, receive Catechesis on the Sacrament itself and discuss implementation of the lessons.
The Director of SPRED, Lisbeth Raeside, will lead participants through a variety of ways to pray with young people in an ASN setting. This course is suitable for staff in ASN schools and units, as well as any staff in mainstream schools.
These meetings are a vital opportunity for the exchange of information, ideas, support and guidance between Principal Teachers as well as an essential point of communication between the RE Department of the the RE Departments from schools across the Diocese.
This session will be lead by thediocesan misc director who will explore the place of sacred music within theprimary classroom with practical support and advice.
An in-person session for all involved in the Catholic School Leadership Programme to come together. It will be hosted by the Diocese and will involve a presentation from a Catholic leader, spiritual activities and an opportunity to network with colleagues across the Archdiocese.
This course is essential for any member of staff teaching God’s Loving Plan. This CLPL is intended to introduce staff to God’s Loving Plan and provide teachers with an opportunity to reflect on the Catholic vision of creation, human life and loving relationships that is embedded in God’s Loving Plan.
Support and advice for teachers who are preparing children for First Holy Communion for the first time or as a refresher. The use of support materials will be explored and futher resources will be shared. N.B. THIS IS THE ONLY CONFIRMATION COURSE FOR MOTHERWELL DIOCESE THIS YEAR
