Edinburgh City Council have provided some very helpful advice for schools bringing pupil groups to Edinburgh for the St Ninians’ Day Parade on the morning of Thursday 16th September.  This covers issues of timing, parking, viewing areas for school groups and – critically – child safety, including arrangements for dealing with lost children.  If you are bring children to this event, please dowload and copy this advice and the accompaying street map.

Please note that Edinburgh City Council staff are providing temporary litter bins in the viewing area for the use of school groups during the parade.
