St Patrick's Troon Making Pancakes_lores.jpg

Primary 6 pupils enrolled fro the Pope Francis Faith Award in St Patrick’s Priamruy school in Troon have been putting their Faith into action by  raising money for S.C.I.A.F and for a clinic for mothers and babies in Badagry, Nigeria, which is supported by the local secondary school, Queen Margaret Academy in Ayr and it’s cluster primaries.

Pupils organised lots of activities for the school to enjoy – but they had to pay! There was ‘Guess the Teddy’s Birthday’, ‘Beat the Goalie’ and a Sponsored Disco. They also made pancakes for all the school to buy and enjoy. Last year theschool raised over £1,000, which was divided between two charities.  Theyhope to match or even beat this amount this year.
