St Bernadette’s Primary School is a denominational school. It serves an area in north Motherwell. The roll was 199 when the inspection was carried out in June 2009. Children’s attendance was in line with the national average in 2007/2008. The headteacher was appointed in August 2008. The school shares a joint campus with Clydeview School.

Particular strengths of the school

  • Polite, happy and enthusiastic children.
  • Staff commitment to extending children’s experiences and wider achievements.
  • The quality of pastoral care, particularly for children and families requiring additional support.
  • Positive relationships with parents, Clydeview School and the local community.
